About Daniel
Daniel Sjökvist is the founder of in mvmt.
He is a certified personal trainer, soft tissue therapist and former professional dancer.
The services that Daniel provides combine science based methods with a holistic approach.
His mission is to provide high quality training tailored to his clients individual needs.
in mvmt is rooted in knowledge, ongoing learning, and a deep understanding and love for human movement.
Daniel is the founder of IN MVMT and has a background as a professional dancer in internationally renowned companies like Cullberg Ballet and Netherlands Dance Theater.
He was educated at the Royal Swedish Ballet School and worked for over two decades as a dancer.
Daniel was privileged to perform works by choreographers such as Johan Inger, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Mats Ek, Crystal Pite, Jiří Kylián, Trajal Harrell, Alexander Ekman, Wayne McGregor, Deborah Hay, Jacopo Godani, Stijn Celis, Birgit Cullberg, Jefta van Dinther, Paul Lightfoot, Nacho Duato, Irene Hultman, Benoît Lachambre, Tilman O’Donnell, Ina Christel Johannessen, Pär Isberg, Stina Nyberg, among others.
Daniel is committed to providing the high-quality training and support he himself would have benefited from during his career as a dancer.

This class is for those who are looking for challenging and playful functional training.
Using bodyweight exercises, conventional strength training, and movement, this class aims to increase your body’s ability to move better and pain free.
Dancer Specific Full Range Strength
This class is reserved for professional dancers and senior dance students.
